The Materials We Always Come Back To

Trends move quickly in interiors.

One season it’s bold colour, the next it’s minimalism. Shapes change, finishes change, and suddenly homes begin to feel styled for a moment rather than lived in over time.

At Pushka Home, we try and approach things a little differently.

We’ve never wanted our collections to feel trend led. Instead, we’re drawn to the pieces that are here to last. Materials with texture, finishes that soften with age, and objects that settle naturally into everyday life.

When we build collections, we’re not just thinking about how something looks in a photograph. We’re thinking about how it will live in a home six months from now, or five years from now. How it will feel used daily. How it works alongside the pieces people already have.

Some items become favourites instantly. Others become the quiet staples people reach for every day without really noticing. Which, to us, is often the sign of truly good design.

The Beauty of Natural Texture

We’re always pulled towards materials that feel tactile and imperfect.

Linen that creases softly over time. Ceramics with slight variations in glaze. Wood with visible grain and texture. These are pieces that feel warm rather than overly polished.

Natural materials have a way of making a home feel more relaxed. They soften spaces without trying too hard and bring a sense of calm that doesn’t rely on trends or decoration.

We often find that the homes we’re most inspired by aren’t perfectly styled. They’re layered slowly, filled with texture, and designed around how people live.

Simplicity That Lasts

Simplicity is always important to us.

Not minimalism in a cold sense, but simplicity that allows an item to work effortlessly in different spaces and alongside different styles.

We want our products to feel adaptable. Something that works just as well on a quiet Sunday morning coffee table as it does during a dinner party with friends. Homeware should feel lived with, not overly precious. The kinds of items that quietly become part of our everyday routines.

Designing for Real Homes

We spend a lot of time thinking about atmosphere.

How a room feels in the evening when the lighting is low. The textures people naturally gravitate towards. The details that make a home feel warm and personal rather than perfectly curated.

That’s why we’re less interested in fast trends and more interested in longevity. The pieces that continue to feel relevant season after season.

For us, homeware should never feel disposable. It should feel collected slowly, used often, and loved for years. And while trends will always come and go, those are the pieces people tend to keep.

T bar door handles are perfect for achieving a streamlined aesthetic. Their linear design complements contemporary cabinetry, adding a touch of class to every space. Choose from gold, black, silver, antique gold and gunmetal grey to match with other interior decor.
